Bookelot is a collective project born from a group of Italians from the '70s, the Pac-Man generation.
A heterogeneous group regarding passions, interests, and even spoken languages. Several of us are bilingual: French, English, German, Spanish. Expanding the horizon to our closest friends, we reach Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic. Several
everal of us have a background in translating. AI has made giant strides, including in the linguistic field. While exploiting the potential of AI in our translations, we believe that relying blindly on it leads to linguistic flattening and a significant drop in quality. All our translations are subject to human revision, both stylistic and, where necessary, technical.
For the reasons mentioned above, we are looking for competent people in all languages who speak several languages fluently and can play the role of translation reviewers.
The v-book (Virtual-Book) project, although integrated into Bookelot, is a standalone project accessible via an independent app: the V-Book Reader (download it here).
To authors and publishers worldwide, we can provide adequate support in creating their own v-books. We urge you to experiment with new forms of writing, to involve young people in the ancient pleasure of reading.
